When you are a first time parent you have no idea how many body suits, wash cloths, burp cloths, bibs etc you will need for your baby. Here are some helpful hints to help you in your new journey of parenthood.

* 4-6 Infant Gowns- New dads may be a little hesitant about dressing their little boys in infant gowns but they are much easier than pajamas that snap when you have to change your baby in the dark at night.

* 6-10 Washcloths- Since accidents happen you will continuously need to clean spit up and dirty diaper leaks off your baby so it is nice to always have a clean wash cloth handy.

* 4-8 Receiving Blankets- Little ones need to be kept warm and protected and since accidents happen a fresh clean back up is needed.

* 10-15 Bodysuits- Have one for every day of the week plus a few extras for your diaper bag in case of emergencies.

* 2-4 Hooded Towels- After you bathe your little one wrap them up in a hooded towel to keep their body and head warm.

* 1-3 Hat and Bootie Sets- You will need to keep your little ones hands and feet warm so have a set on hand. Mittens also work great on warming the hands but also from preventing your baby from scratching their little face.

* 8-12 Bibs- Bibs are wonderful to use during feedings to catch excess food and spit up but they are also great for helping you wipe drool from your little ones face during teething.

In the summertime dress your baby in light colored and light weight clothing. In the wintertime dress your child in 2-3 breathable layers and make sure to always keep their heads, hands and feet warm. For adorable clothing for kids visit One Stop Shop for Kids
